stumbled upon

This morning, I found an old, coloured engraving between
some postcards and letters from my grandfather who
was a photographer. I wrote earlier about this subject in
'D', which you can read on my website.

The last day and last walk from 2020.

'Naoïse'

'NaoÏse', a short video by Jacqueline Mesmaeker, at display at Raveel Museum. Another, more or less similar, video is
'Matthis'. Both were made in 2002 but it's the first time I came to see them.

and the mood inside

A brief and unprepared visit to the museum of contemporary art and a very quick impression of the works.

Above: Anna Boghiguian and under: unknown participant 'Drawing in Lockdown' (let me know if it's yours!).

steekt! (linosnede, ca 6 x 8 cm).

sketches

Some of the dozens of sketches I made for the two additional linocuts which will replace a few others in
the 'Una Storia/Het Hond' - series. The aim is to improve the whole whilst reducing the number of prints.
The large number of sketches is, apart from being a formal search, a way to allow accidents and coincidences
to happen and to give way to the unconcious to infiltrate.
